To Reprogram The Purpose of Money Into a Medicine that Heals Nature

Suddenly I find myself in a car with ancient “quantum physicist wizards” wearing white hats, following an unpaved, slithering road through the jungle of Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia.

Somehow as a “younger brother” from the artificial world, I was invited by the indigenous Elder Brothers to witness and document an internal conflict resolution process in a remote mountain village.

This led to an even deeper invitation: to join them on a five-day pilgrimage across sacred sites of the Sierra with a profound mission:

I’m not sure why and how I ended up here, but suddenly my life makes total sense. For years I’ve been patiently preparing my inner soil and ecology of practices. For years I’ve supported bioregional weavers and the larger bioregional movement. Now it’s time to become a bioregional weaver myself in one of the most special places on earth — Bioregion 0.

BIOREGION 0 — THE HEART OF THE WORLD

For thousands of years, four indigenous tribes — the Arhuaco, Kogi, Wiwa, and Kankuamo — known as Humanity’s Elder Brothers, have been maintaining the balance of the Earth from Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia — the Heart of the World. The conical “tutusomas” hats represent their indigenous stewardship over the sacred, snow-capped peaks of their home.

A place protected by La Línea Negra, a black line encircling 348 sacred sites that marks the ancestral and spiritual boundary of the territory.

As the world's highest coastal mountain range, here you can stand on a tropical beach and look up at glacial peaks rising 5,700 meters — the shortest distance from tropical ice to open ocean anywhere on the planet of just 42 kilometres. As a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, ecologists call the Sierra as a “condensed planet” — compressing every major climate zone on Earth and harbouring extraordinary biodiversity into one single territory — from tropical beaches and arid deserts to dense cloud forests and perpetual snow.

As the mother of the Caribbean Ocean, it’s glaciers birth 36 watersheds, 615 streams, 200 lakes, and over 5,000 springs — providing freshwater to more than 1.5 million people. Through their specific structure and mineral composition, the mountains function as an atmospheric engine, regulating climate systems all over the world.

This makes the Sierra into one of the most vital and irreplaceable ecosystems on the planet.

To the Elder Brothers, this sacred mountain range is much more than a diverse ecosystem; it is Umunukunu, a grand biological supercomputer and energetic center of the universe, where the intricate balance of nature, humanity and the cosmos is maintained. Though they speak four entirely different languages, they share a single cosmology and a single mandate — to protect the equilibrium of the Earth.

According to their cosmovision, the area within the sacred Black Line is where the universe first materialized. They believe that the very first mountains and physical aspects of the Earth were placed here, and from this origin point, they were copied and pasted around the rest of the world. That’s why we talk about Bioregion 0 — the point of original creation.

Their Ancestral Knowledge System, officially recognized as the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, teaches that every mountain and species here is entangled with the rest of the planet. Quantum scientists are beginning to agree. The Sierra is a microcosm of Earth herself: a place so alive, so interconnected, that its health is our health, its balance our balance.

What happens in the Heart of the World ripples out across the globe.

THE UNEXPECTED INVITATION

In 2025, the World Peace Pilgrimage and Sun Nation brought several members of the International Regenerative Alliance (AIR) to the Heart of the World. I was one of them. During our second visit to Gunkey — a remote Arhuaco frontier village standing resilient against deforestation and paramilitary encroachment — something unexpected happened.

The Mamos — their spiritual leaders who serve as living bridges between the physical realm and the immaterial, quantum dimensions of nature — invited us as “younger brothers and sisters“ from the artificial world to join them on a five-day pilgrimage across sacred sites of the Sierra with a profound mission:

After centuries of hiding, the Mamos are breaking their silence because they believe we have reached a critical 500-year prophecy mark: the exact same energy that brought the “poison” of colonization and destruction to their shores half a millennium ago must now transform and return as the cure.

THE PILGRIMAGE AND SACRED SITE ACTIVATION

On March 9th, guided by the Elder Brothers, we will set out to circumnavigate the Heart of the World. Over five days, we will traverse mountains, jungles, deserts, the ocean, and a Great Lake. We will travel alongside the Mamos to activate specific sacred sites that are energetically connected to different parts of the planet.

The Mamos have spent months ceremonially preparing specific natural materials — rocks of certain colours, river moss from desert streams — each corresponding to particular frequencies. Together, we will return these materials to key energetic nodes across the Sierra, to anchor the virtuous evolution of money so that it can flow toward the preservation of Life.

Poporos—a sacred gourd containing crushed, burned seashells. Scraping a stick against the gourd’s top is a highly symbolic act representing the stewardship of Mother Earth. It serves as a continuous, living prayer for world peace.

On grass illuminated by fireflies.

WHY THIS MATTERS

This is not a hike. It is an act of planetary stewardship. This pilgrimage carries both deep spiritual and practical value:

• A Planetary Money Mission: Performing energetic work to “clean the money of the planet,” to redirect the global frequency of financial systems toward the preservation of Nature and Life.

• Training the Next Generation: Providing a rare, fully-funded opportunity to bring young Mamos-in-training to sacred sites they would otherwise never reach, allowing some to see the ocean for the very first time.

• Security Through Presence: In a region shaped by land conflicts and paramilitary control, the presence of an international delegation provides a vital layer of safety and legitimacy, allowing Indigenous leaders to travel through these contested zones unharmed.

• A Regenerative Governance Prototype: Documenting an integral, replicable model for how global regenerative movements can work directly with Indigenous territorial authorities.

• Amplifying the Message: Filming a documentary of the journey to amplify the message of the Elder Brothers and support frontier villages like Gunkey in one of the most important ecosystems on the planet.
