Welcome to The Mycelium
“The surest way to heal an eco-system is to connect it to more of itself.”
— William McDonough

Who
The Mycelium is written by Tijn Tjoelker (28), a bioregional weaver, writer and “human mycelium network” dedicated to illuminating, embodying and weaving together the “more beautiful world our hearts know is possible” who somehow became a LinkedIn top voice with 33,000+ followers.

With a deep background in Earth Science, Arctic Climate Change, Systems Change and Sustainability Leadership, he works as an interdependent consultant with the Bioregional Weaving Labs Collective, Commonland and Ahladini Foundation on the intersection of bioregional regeneration and evolution of consciousness.
Where
For the past year, he lived as a bioregional nomad in Norway and initiated a peace pilgrimage through Europe, exploring what it means to live, work and travel in truly regenerative and life-giving ways.

On this quest, life brought him to one of the most special bioregions on the planet: Sierra Nevada de Santa, Colombia — The Heart of the World. Here he is in service as a bioregional weaver to the indigenous Elder Brothers, supporting to protect, restore and regenerate their sacred territory.
